Restaurant Director

Department: Hospitality Director
Location: Mayfield Heights, OH

You will serve as the creative mind behind the guest experience within the walls of our restaurant at Chick-fil-A Mayfield Heights. You will oversee, contribute to & empower team members to serve a “REMARK”able products and service fast and in a refreshingly clean environment. You must be motivated and embody the vision of the business. You should be highly intentional, set goals, and give regular coaching and performance feedback to team. In addition to; a servant’s heart and joy engaging with guests and team members.

  • Understand the federal and local health code regulations
  • Flexibility in scheduling, both morning and evening
  • Works 35+ hour per week in the restaurant
  • Be 18+ years old


  • Ensure each guest receives “REMARK”able experience when entering our doors
  • Oversee product quality and packaging before leaving front counter
  • Motivates and encourages team members
  • Delegates responsibilities and tasks for operations
  • Leads and guides Supervisors to a successful shift
  • Performs all duties and coaches others
  • Pass the Pathway Trainer Module with a 90% or higher
  • Create systems to improve workflow and productivity
  • Demonstrate exceptional proficiency in fiscal management
  • Expert in Multi-tasking
  • Create goals for supervisors
  • Format development plans for supervisors
  • Understand catering process from order taking to execution
  • Experience in scheduling and labor management
  • Ensure systematic redirection of subordinate staff by providing effective feedback accompanied by written expectations and resources for change
  • Ensure that all disciplinary letters are proofread by Executive Directors BEFORE they are presented to the subordinate staff needing redirection. After approval, the disciplinary letter is presented and signed by all parties and is forwarded to the HR Director to be filed; confidentiality must be maintained
  • Demonstrate calm and efficient demeanor during high volume and/or stressful hours
  • Diffuse crisis situations independently while directing others and to problem solve
  • Meet with Supervisors 1 on 1 bi-weekly bases
  • Uphold and lead by example the Chick-fil-A culture and expectations.
